This report is dedicated to my father, “The Late Mr. Albert Coakley!”
And my late nephew “Mr. Logan Tyler Coakley!”
He who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favor from the Lord. Lady Lashundra, I want to thank you for your companionship and support. You have been my counselor and voice of reason when I get overwhelmed. The songwriter said it like this “You were my strength when I was weak, You were my voice when I couldn't speak, You were my eyes when I couldn't see, You saw the best there was in me. Lifted me up when I couldn't reach. You gave me faith cause you believed. I'm everything I am because you loved me.” I love and appreciate you.
It is with humility and honor that I report to the 55th Session of the London-Midland Conference of the African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church my “Inaugural” Presiding Elder’s Report. To God be the glory for the great things He has done! To my mom, Mrs. Rose Marie Washington Coakley and Mrs. Lashundra Denise Coakley, my partner in life, two of my greatest supporters! How can I say thank you?
I will work according to John 9:4 “I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: [for] the night cometh, when no man can work.” Humbly Submitted,
